What is Archangel?
Archangel is a secure operations platform for film and television production companies. It’s where a production runs the confidential side of a project — scripts and revisions, casting and directors, scheduling, budgets, submissions and crew — all under strict, role-based access control, so sensitive material only ever reaches the people who are meant to see it.
What is Scriptkeeper?
Archangel: Scriptkeeper(formerly Guardian Angel) is Archangel’s secure script reader — a small, standalone app for people outside a production who have been sent one confidential screenplay to read: an actor, a director, a writer, a financier.
It does exactly one thing: it opens the single script assigned to you, read-only. Every page is watermarked with your identity, access is granted by the production and is time-limited, and there are no downloads, no library, and nothing else to browse.
How do I gain access?
You don’t create an account yourself — access is issued to youby the production you’re working with. When they grant it, you’ll receive an access email and an access code.
- Download Archangel: Scriptkeeper from the App Store.
- Open it and verify your identity (Face ID / passcode).
- Enter the access email and access code the production sent you.
- Your assigned script opens. Read it on scroll or swipe.
If your access is locked to another device, or your window has expired, you can request a new device or an extension right from the app — the production is notified and can grant it.
