Archangel: Scriptkeeper (formerly Guardian Angel) is a secure, read-only reader for confidential film and television scripts, operated by Archangel (archangeldesk.com). Access is issued to you by a production; you cannot sign up inside the app.
What we collect
- Your email address and the access code issued to you by the production, used solely to sign you in and show you the one script assigned to you.
- Reading activity for that script — when you opened it, your current page, and whether you finished — so the production knows the material was received and reviewed.
- A device identifier generated on your device, used to bind your access to your device so your confidential copy can’t be opened elsewhere.
- Security events — if a screenshot or screen recording is detected while you read, the incident is recorded and your access may be revoked, because the material is confidential.
What we do not do
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not sell or share your information with advertisers or third parties.
- We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or analytics beyond the reading of your assigned script.
Who sees your information
Only the production company that granted you access (administrators on the Archangel platform). Your identity is also watermarked onto the script you read, so any copy is traceable to you.
Retention
Your access and associated records are held for as long as the production maintains your access, and are removed when they revoke it or close the project.

Access is controlled by the production. To change or remove your access, or for any privacy question, contact the production office that invited you, or Archangel at the support address on archangeldesk.com.
